January 19th 10pm est Location is to be announced Entry fee is 500g All cash collected will be spread out equally among the winning team The goal of this game is to bring a lantern that begins in the middle of a field to the other team's flag. Each team consists of six players. There are five fighter's and one goalie. Each round begins with each team on one side of the field who must stay in their goalbox until the referee signals the beginning of the round. The flag for each team is inside the goalbox such that the goalie has a chance to get a few swings at fighters trying to get to the flag. No players may use pets, summoned pets, or mounts. The point of the game is to get that lantern which means killing the other team when they've got the lantern and looting it! Rules of event 1. The fighter's are highly restricted in their equipment. The ONLY thing they may have is a death robe (or be naked) and a one handed weapon (non-magical, non-runic). They will not be allowed to heal themselves or each other or cast spells. Upon reaching the lantern, the fighter must place it into their empty hand before moving again. The lantern may be passed to other teammates by either placing the lantern on the ground or trading. However, the one who gets the lantern must place it into his empty hand before moving again. Any fighter who dies is completely out of the round (but not the match). 2. The goalie has fewer restrictions on equipment and is allowed to heal any of their own team's fighters. The goalie may not use colored armor or special leather (spined, horned, barbed). The goalie must stay inside his team's goalbox. The goalie may cast any spell except the following: paralyze, earthquake, field spells (including wall of stone), summoning spells, or ressurection. 3. If all of the fighters are killed from both teams, the round will be settled by the goalies in a duel. The ring for the duel will be one of the team's goalboxes. The duel should be quick so no healing of any sort will be allowed during the duel. 4. Each match will be a best three out of five rounds. 5. Each round may only last for three minutes. After that time, the winning team will be decided by duelling goalies (see number 3). 6. Do NOT give out murder counts. 7. If any team breaks any of the rules then they forfeit the round (but not necessarily the match). Event hosted by Rose and Red Phoenix of Wispwood |
